Welcome to Jennie & Co Pet Care
Hi, I’m Jennie.
Animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by them, and from an early age I knew there was nowhere I’d rather be than caring for them. That passion has never changed—it has simply grown into a career and now, my dream business.
After many successful years in senior leadership within the corporate world, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life: I stepped away to follow what had always been calling me.
For the last four years, I’ve had the privilege of working in animal rescue and rehabilitation, caring for animals from all walks of life. During that time I’ve worked with countless breeds, personalities and species, from confident puppies to nervous rescue dogs, elderly companions, cats, reptiles, small mammals and everything in between. Every single animal has taught me something new, and those experiences have shaped the welfare-led approach that sits at the heart of Jennie & Co Pet Care.
Alongside my work in animal welfare, I was incredibly proud to be awarded Fellowship status with the Institute of Leadership, recognising my commitment to professional leadership and high standards. I believe exceptional pet care isn’t just about loving animals—it’s about combining compassion with professionalism, knowledge and responsibility.
Jennie & Co Pet Care was created to offer something different.
This is premium, welfare-led pet care where every decision is made with your pet’s physical and emotional wellbeing in mind. Whether we’re out on an adventure, visiting them at home or supporting them through a Reiki session, their welfare will always come first.
To provide the safest and calmest travel possible, I use a fully electric vehicle fitted with premium transportation crates from Dog Box UK. These high-quality crates allow every journey to be secure, comfortable and as stress-free as possible, while the quiet electric vehicle creates a calmer environment for the dogs travelling with me.
I’m also a qualified Reiki practitioner, having completed Reiki Level 1, Reiki Level 2 and additional animal-specific Reiki training. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive complementary therapy that can help many animals feel calmer, more relaxed and emotionally balanced. I particularly enjoy working with dogs, and have seen wonderful responses from older dogs, those living with long-term health conditions, anxious pets and rescue dogs who simply need time, patience and understanding.
Every animal is an individual. They all communicate differently, they all have their own personalities, and they all deserve to feel safe, understood and genuinely cared for.
When you choose Jennie & Co Pet Care, you’re choosing someone who will care for your pet as if they were one of my own.
Because this has never just been a business.
It’s my passion, my purpose and an absolute privilege to be trusted with the animals you love most.

Keeping Dogs Safe in Hot Weather
Your dog’s welfare will always come first.
During warmer weather, walks are carefully planned around the temperature and your dog’s individual needs. If it’s too hot, walks may be shortened, moved to cooler parts of the day, or replaced with enrichment and home visits where needed.
Throughout every walk, dogs have regular breaks, access to fresh drinking water, and another drink at the end of their walk. I also carry a Mud Daddy filled with cool water, perfect for cooling paws and helping dogs stay comfortable after an adventure.
With my background in animal rescue and rehabilitation, I know how quickly dogs can be affected by heat. That’s why every decision I make is based on what’s safest for your dog.
Sometimes, the best thing for your dog isn’t a walk at all. Enrichment activities, gentle training, scent work and mental stimulation can be just as rewarding, helping to keep your dog happy, engaged and fulfilled while staying safe in the heat.
Canine Reiki
Canine Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive complementary therapy that supports your dog’s emotional and physical wellbeing. Every session is led entirely by your dog, allowing them to relax at their own pace in a calm, safe environment.
As a qualified Reiki practitioner, having completed Reiki Levels 1 and 2 alongside animal-specific Reiki training, I have a particular passion for working with dogs and helping them feel calm, comfortable and supported.
Reiki may benefit dogs experiencing anxiety, stress, recovering from illness or surgery, living with long-term conditions, adjusting to change, or simply needing a little extra relaxation. I have a special interest in supporting senior dogs, rescue dogs and those with ongoing health conditions.
While Reiki is not a replacement for veterinary treatment, it can work beautifully alongside conventional veterinary care as part of a holistic approach to your dog’s wellbeing.
Every session is tailored to your dog’s individual needs, with their welfare, comfort and choice at the heart of everything I do.
